St Paul, Clifton

St Paul, Clifton

The church here dates mainly from 1867, when it was rebuilt after a fire.

The windows are all are by Hardman & Co and were installed during the period 1869 to 1887.

The East Window illustrates scenes from the life of St Paul. Along the south aisle the windows date from 1887 and show the Raising of Lazarus and Christ walking on water, with the story flowing from one window light to the next.
