Our latest Annual Review 2024

Our Annual Review for 2024 has now been printed and sent to those on our mailing list, and a digital copy has gone to those for whom we have email contacts.

Do please take a look at what we have been doing.  You will find descriptions and pictures of four very different projects which we have supported in 2024, together with a full list of the grants we have offered.

Our cover picture this year is something a little different: a close-up of the door handle at St Osmund’s, Tarlton.   As with the stained glass which you may remember from our 2024 Christmas card, the handle is in the shape of a gothic Catherine wheel.  Who could design such a charming detail today?   It is just one very small example of the quality and variety to be found in our church buildings.

We are always grateful for photographs relating to our work, and we would like to thank those whose pictures appear in the 2024 Annual Review:

The photo of Colin Senior and Patricia Broadfoot in Wickwar church, on p5, was taken by Marcus Green.

The before and after photos of the cleaning at Bitton, on pp8/9, were supplied by Andrew Ziminski of Minerva Conservation of Bath.

The exterior view of Amberley church on p12 was supplied by the parish.

The photo of Christmas worship at St Agnes, Bristol, on p15, was supplied by the parish.

The Ride+Stride photos on p19 were supplied by the parishes concerned.

Other photos are by Jonathan MacKechnie Jarvis
