Celebration of the Gloucestershire Historic Churches Trust’s 40th Anniversary
To All Our Supporters:
We send an invitation from Edward Gillespie OBE, Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire & President GHCT to an event at Gloucester Cathedral in celebration of the Gloucestershire Historic Churches Trust’s 40th Anniversary.
The evening will start at 5.30pm with Choral Evensong sung by the full Cathedral choir, with music written by Gloucestershire composers. If you can’t get to the Cathedral in time for the service, please join us later at 6.15pm for a reception in the Chapter House, where we will be serving canapes and Gloucestershire wine from the Three Choirs Vineyard or Gloucestershire apple juice from Day’s Cottage.
To mark our 40th Anniversary we launched an appeal at the end of May, £40,000 for 40 Years. You will be pleased to learn that more than 100 supporters have made donations and we are now over two-thirds of the way to our target, with donations still coming in. All of us at GHCT are immensely grateful to those of you who have been so generous in supporting the work that we do. If you have not yet donated, please consider doing so. Thanks to you our churches can be confident that GHCT will be there with the resources to help them with renovation and improvement for many years to come.
All of us at GHCT very much hope that you will join us on October 5th. Please let us know if you intend to come, so that we can plan our catering.
