Easton Christian Family Centre Transformation Complete
Grant Update: Easton Christian Family Centre Transformation Complete
We're delighted to share news that work at Easton Christian Family Centre (ECFC), part-funded by a £10,000 GHCT grant, has now been completed.
The project focused on improving the building's energy efficiency and weatherproofing, with the installation of replacement external windows and doors, cavity wall insulation, and high-level wall cladding, all completed by the end of summer 2025.
The results have made a real difference to everyone who uses the centre. The new windows and doors are significantly more energy efficient, reducing draughts and making the building considerably warmer, while the cavity wall insulation further improves that. Together, the changes are expected to lower energy bills and create a more comfortable environment for the community groups and individuals who rely on the building year-round.
As the final phase of the project, new access ramps are being installed to ensure all users can reach the new doors safely, completing the work under the contract.
The team at ECFC were kind enough to share before-and-after photographs showing the visible transformation, and the feedback from building users has been overwhelmingly positive.
We're proud to have played a part in supporting this project and wish everyone at Easton Christian Family Centre well as they enjoy their improved facilities.
